Sure,to show exactly where taxpayer's money goes is one of the many processes towards the order of transparency and accountability of respective authorities.The taxpayers in general view the payment of taxes as mandatory obligation.Perhaps because people had become tired of criticizing the system knowing that their complains would end up to nothing.That is why its a good thing NGO's like us exist.One effect we have to them is to re-instill their awareness and involvement with public issues.
Going back to the issue of where the taxes goes, making an illustrative chart would greatly help.A periodic chart posted every other payment.This has been done in one country in Africa which has been proven to be effective.It not only boost the revenue collection but also efficiently manage the revenue itself.
