Project Assignment: Citizen Participatory Audit (CPA)
Duration of contract: 01 July to 31 December 2015

Description:

Towards the institutionalization of Citizen Participatory Audit (CPA), the Commission on Audit (COA) and the Affiliated Network for Social Accountability (ANSA-EAP) embarked in a  partnership to build on the gains of the pilot phase in furtherance of enhancing citizen participation in the public audit process.  This would include:

  • Replicating CPA models nationwide;
  • Developing knowledge products on Audit Literacy; and
  • Establishing new methodologies for feedback and validation under CPA.

A PROJECT ASSOCIATE will be engaged to provide technical and logistical support to the CPA Project Phase Two. The Project Associate will be directly reporting to the CPA Program Manager.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Graduate of any four-year course;
  • Has good communication skills;
  • Organized, self-starting and a team player
  • Willing to work in a challenging environment

Tasks and Functions:

The PROJECT ASSOCIATE is expected to perform the following tasks:

  1. Assist in the preparation and conduct of CPA project events and activities, including mobilization of stakeholders, processing of administrative and financial requirements, drafting of concept notes and programs, and preparation of documentation, activity reports, and project progress reports;
  2. Participate during project team and ANSA-EAP meetings, exchanges with potential civil society and government partners, and dialogues with stakeholders;
  3. Work closely with the Project Officer in developing knowledge products;
  4. Assist the Project Manager and Project Officer in designing, finalizing, and utilizing project component-related documents;
  5. Attend to necessary logistical and administrative duties in relation to the implementation of project plans and implementation of identified project interventions, including logistical notes, liquidation reports, reimbursement forms, registration forms, etc;
  6. Prepare and ensure the uploading of website articles, blog entries, and other similar online materials to capture and communicate project-related initiatives, results, and lessons to the project team, ANSA-EAP staff, project and network partners, and other stakeholders
  7. Assist the project supervisors in drafting con
    cept notes, Terms of References (TORs), other documents related to the contracting and hiring of project consultants;
  8. Submit weekly reports and monthly personal accomplishment report to the project supervisor indicating key outputs and achievements from the preceding period; and
  9. Report daily in the office with a minimum of 40 hours per week (e.g. 8am to 5pm, 9am to 6pm).
