Conversations

Teten MasdukiThe ANSA-EAP website is launching “Conversations with ANSA-EAP Executive Committee members“, a series of interviews with Executive Committee members of ANSA-EAP sharing their various advocacies and how these relate to social accountability. 

The first conversation is with Teten Masduki who aside from being an EC member of ANSA, is also the Secretary General of Transparency International-Indonesia.  He shares the early days of his advocacy work – from his days as a student activist during the Suharto regime to teaching students and labor workers.  This is the first of a three part interview.

Social Accountability in the News MOA Signing

checkmyschool.org MOA signed. A Memorandum of Agreement for checkmyschool.org was signed between the Ateneo  de Manila University and the Department of Education.

Social Accountability and Food Security StudyAsiaDHRRA, PhilDHRRA and Binadesa released a study aimed at strengthening social accountability mechanisms for food security and agricultural development.

ASEAN Report on Constructive Engagement.  The ASEAN announced it has made available the report, “Constructive Engagement – Building a People-Oriented Community,” which captures key discussions, initiatives and actions plans discussed during the ASEAN 2009 meeting.

Network Fellows Meetings. ANSA EAP will be uploading the documentation for the Network Fellows meetings.
